Hot and Humid

~The Gentle Art Of Blessing~
When something goes completely askew in your day,
when some unexpected event upsets your plans
and you also, burst into blessing.
For life is teaching you a lesson,
and the very event you believe to be unwanted,
you yourself called forth,
so as to learn the lesson you might balk against
were you not to bless it.

It is very hot and humid outside so you will find me indoors in the cool air conditioning reading and relaxing or watching a movie.

The wonderful priest yesterday at Assumption parish after mass was over yesterday burst out into song outside the church as he greeted us

Summertime and the Living is Easy

Time for fresh vegetables from the stands and enjoying the blessings of the season.

My handsome guy  and I had fresh baked blueberry scones this morning from Parks Blueberries on our way back from London this morning.  A real treat.  We had fresh corn on the cob on the weekend and enjoy the sweet simple things of life now more than ever.

Don't be pushed by your problems be lead by your dreams.

I love these series of photographs that were done from Baby U
Professional Photographers in Seoul for Logan's First Year of Life
Book

Each one is so very fabulous indeed.

Everyone has gone through something that has changed them in a way that they could never go back to the person they once were.

My fabulous cousin Wendy recommended this book to me.
The Shoemakers Wife by Adriana Trigiarti

They have a lovely Library down at Windsor Crossings  I shall have to go and see if they have it available to read.

A dear friend bought me this book for my birthday called

The Nine Fold Heaven by Mingmei Yip

I am really enjoying it very very much indeed.

Also the book Malcolm Dooswaddle's Good Day is such a wonderful children's book and the illustrations
were done by  our fabulous niece Michelle.  Wonderful indeed.  Thank you Michelle for the book for me and your Uncle and one for Logan too.

Treasured book for sure.

This is a family portrait shared by another beautiful niece Michelle

On Choosing to Live Well
I choose to be GRATEFUL,
not HURTFUL.
I choose to be BETTER,
not BITTER.
I choose to be CONTENT,
not CRITICAL.
I choose to be ATTENTIVE,
not INDIFFERENT.
I choose to live WELL, not just LIVE.

We have only today.
