Here we go~ In your status list 15 albums that have stayed with you in some way. Don't think too hard. They don't have to be 'right' or 'great' records, just ones that have touched you. Then tag ten or more friends to do the same including me so I can see your list. Even if you aren't tagged, if you see this, why not do it anyway and pass on some wonderful music. The Breath of Spring - A poem by Shelley D. Stanton
The Breath of Spring
The breath of spring rushed by me
Through the kitchen window pane
And with it came the giggles
Of the children down the lane.
My lace curtains breathed in and out
And swirled the perfume from a rose
That climbs along our backyard fence-
The sweet scent delights my nose
The sweet melody of a lark came in
The notes hung very near
And parted my lacy curtains
And softly whispered in my ear
Spring entered through my window
Much to my elation
I had to lay my kitchen tea-towel down
And accept an invitation

If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly,
our whole world would change.
I need my spring therapy more than ever

Red she said

If - A poem by Rose Fyleman
IF I were a bird with a dear little nest
I should always be going for flights,
I'd fly to the North and the South and the West
And see all the wonderful sights.
I'd perch on the point of the very tall spires,
And race with the insects and bees,
And there would be parties on telegraph wires,
And school at the top of the trees.
If I were a fairy and lived in a flower,
What fun, oh, what fun it would be !
I'm certain I never should sleep for an hour,
And I'd always have honey for tea ;
And never a stocking or shoe would I wear,
Nor ever a hat on my head,
And no one would tell me to tidy my hair,
And no one would send me to bed.
If I were a duchess in satin and pearls,
I'd curtsey like this and like this ;
I'd graciously smile at the lords and the earls,
And give them my fingers to kiss.
And mother should dress all in silver and pink,
And daddy in silver and green,
And off we should go in a coach, only think,
To live with the King and the Queen!

Beautiful poem introduced to me by my dear friend Shelley today on Facebook

Music to me is a healing balm

“Believe that problems do have answers. Believe that they can be overcome. Believe that they can be handled. And finally, believe that you can solve them.” ~ Norman Vincent Peale

"Part of the adventure in life is not always knowing what's going to happen next, and the next part may be grander than your original plan. The key to enjoying the journey is being open to the unknown."
~Kristine Carlson

If you have the power to make someone happy, do it! The world needs more of that.

“The power of finding beauty in the humblest things makes home happy and life lovely.”
~Louisa May Alcott~

It is an honour for me to be part of your day.
And a privilege to have you as part of mine.
Thank you.

Embrace your bliss it is the key to happiness
