Lunar Rainbow Phenomenon, Makapu'u, Island of Oʻahu, Hawaii

A moonbow (also known as a lunar rainbow, white rainbow, lunar bow, or space rainbow) is a rainbow produced by light reflected off the surface of the moon (rather than from direct sunlight) refracting off of moisture in the air. Moonbows are relatively faint, due to the smaller amount of light reflected from the surface of the moon. They are always in the opposite part of the sky from the moon. Because the light is usually too faint to excite the cone color receptors in human eyes, it is difficult for the human eye to discern colors in a moonbow. As a result, they often appear to be white. However, the colors in a moonbow do appear in long exposure photographs.

My Wish for You

This is my wish for you:
Comfort on difficult days,
Smiles when sadness intrudes,
Rainbows to follow the clouds,
Laughter to kiss your lips,
Sunsets to warm your heart,
Hugs when spirits sag,
Beauty for your eyes to see,
Friendships to brighten your being,
Faith so that you can believe,
Confidence for when you doubt,
Courage to know yourself,
Patience to accept the truth,
Love to complete your life.

I love this flash mob dance

I love this song

A book I would like to read
Dr. Wayne W. Dyer's long-awaited memoir, I Can See Clearly Now, is finally here! In this revealing and engaging book, Wayne shares dozens of events from his life, from the time he was a little boy in Detroit up to present day. In unflinching detail, he relates his vivid impressions of encountering many forks in the road, taking readers with him into these formative experiences. Yet then he views the events from his current perspective, noting what lessons he ultimately learned, as well as how he has made the resulting wisdom available to millions via his lifelong dedication to service.

"There's love within our family tree
and happiness abound.
Its roots are deeply planted
in rich and fertile ground.

We enjoy the rays of sunlight
and endure the winds and rain,
and when a leaf falls from our tree,
together we share the pain.

God gave us earthly families
and never did intend,
that bonds of love built on Earth
upon our death should end.

For when our life is over
and from earth our souls will flee,
one by one, leaf by leaf,
He'll rejoin our family tree."
~Family Tree by Ron Tranmer

The Gayatri Mantra (Prayer) is said to be the oldest and most powerful of mantras, being thousands of years old. It purifies the person chanting it as well as the listener as it creates a tangible sense of well being in whoever comes across it. Translated, it means "May all beings on earth reach enlightenment," but as with all mantras, the meaning of the Sanskrit words isn't as important as the effect the vibrations of the words have on the body and energy centers" ~ Deva Premal

"She reminded me that the world was really one bee yard,
and the same rules work fine in both places.
Don't be afraid, as no life-loving bee wants to sting you.
Still, don't be an idiot; wear long sleeves and pants.
Don't swat. Don't even think about swatting.
If you feel angry, whistle.
Anger agitates while whistling melts a bee's temper.
Act like you know what you're doing, even if you don't.
Above all, send the bees love.
Every little thing wants to be loved.” ~Sue Monk Kidd

Every action of our lives touches on some chord that will vibrate into eternity.

Love is the closest thing to magic we can ever create.

Childhood is the world of miracle and wonder; as if creation rose, bathed in the light, out of the darkness, utterly new and fresh and astonishing. The end of childhood is when things cease to astonish us.

Bless this moment in your life. Right now. Even if it is imperfect. Even if you’re not where you want to be. Because you and this moment are filled with divine potential. Your angels are with you. You are loved.

"What lies before us and what lies behind us are small matters
compared to what lies within us. And when you bring what lies
within out into the world, miracles happen."

"In the morning, everything is new.
The day's blank slate lies before me,
ready for my writing.
May it be words of beauty I write.
May it be deeds of grace I do.
May it be thoughts of joy I think.
All the Holy Ones, Listen;
this is what I pray.
Great Spirits of the Four Realms,
Holy Ones of the Realms of Minds,
Kindreds of Yore,
as I go through the day,
keep my eyes open wide.
May I not miss beauty.
May I not miss joy.
May I not miss wonder.
Keep me awake and aware of the world.
It is my privilege to perform my morning prayers.
It is my honor to do what should be done.
As I rise with the morning, fog lifting slowly for my mind,
I pray not to forget these truths.Amen"~ Ceisiwr Serith

Magic Exists

“Magic exists.
Who can doubt it, when there are rainbows and wildflowers,
the music of the wind and the silence of the stars?
Anyone who has loved has been touched by magic.
It is such a simple and such an extraordinary part
of the lives we live.” ~Nora Roberts

Much love and happy Friday to you all

“Simplicity, patience, compassion.
These three are your greatest treasures.
Simple in actions and thoughts, you return to the source of being.
Patient with both friends and enemies,
you accord with the way things are.
Compassionate toward yourself,
you reconcile all beings in the world.”
