"What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset." - Crowfoot (Blackfoot Nation Chief, warrior and orator; 1821 - 1890)

"The ultimate source of happiness is our mental attitude."

Cat lovers!
It’s Easter week, and that means lilies are everywhere……from supermarkets to roadside stands. But if you’re a cat owner, don’t even think about bringing one of these plants home. And don’t make it your Easter gift to anyone who owns cats.
The FDA released a warning about Easter lilies – as well as Tiger, Asiatic, Day, and Japanese Show lilies. The entire plant is poisonous to cats—even nibbling a leaf can cause acute kidney failure. The FDA also says that even if your cat brushes against the lily flower and gets a few grains of pollen on her fur, and then licks it off, the results can be traumatic.
Symptoms of lily poisoning include vomiting and lethargy. If you suspect that your cat has lily poisoning, rush her to the vet for immediate treatment. For more info: http://www.PetPoisonHelpline.com

Today was his earth birthday and he loved pansies
he always said they had sweet faces
There are things that we don’t want to happen but have to accept,
things we don’t want to know but have to learn,
and people we can’t live without but have to let go.. and they live on forever in our hearts♥

Never a moment where you are not inside my heart and thoughts and prayers

Spring is the Queen of all seasons
and Easter is her crown
Golden memories of Easter with my late
beautiful beloved Mom and my sweet baby Sister

Your Mother is always with you.
She's the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street.
She's the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick and
perfume that she wore.
She's the cool hand on your brow when you're not feeling well.
She's your breath in the air on a cold winter's day.
She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a
rainbow. She is Christmas morning.
Your Mother lives inside your laughter.
She's crystallized in every teardrop.
A mother shows every emotion .......... happiness, sadness, fear,
jealousy, love, hate, anger, helplessness, excitement, joy,
sorrow... and all the while, hoping and praying you will only know the good
feelings in life. She's the place you came from, your first home, and she's
the map you follow with every step you take.
She's your first love; your first friend, even your first enemy, but
nothing on earth can separate you. Not time, not space...not
even death!

Keeping everyone in my prayers

I stepped out on the back porch this morning just as the faintest light was rising in the east, the air crisp and cool...nature still sleepy, yawning under the gaze of the morning moon....
I stood there awhile, watching the morning take wings as the sun rose and the stars faded away...
I am continually in awe of this time of the day,
maybe because it is so fleeting,
brief, sacred moments,
when God himself breathes life
and light into the new day.
Makes me long for that city
where we will have no need. ~Neva
And the city had no need of the sun,
neither the moon, to shine in it:
for the glory of God did lighten it,
and the Lamb is the light thereof.
-Revelation 21:23
God bless you today!
