Morning approaches softly
quietly
and someone is walking
in the dark
some are sleeping......some are hiding
some are praying....
each is walking the path of their own life
seeking the awareness to discover
what will guide their next step
some are letting it happen as they
move into the moment
without knowing where it will lead
some have an assurance and an inner certainty
some feel only doubt

Someone is walking on the water
someone is in the garden
some are on their knees
one is crying....another laughing........
one is creating.....one is preaching...one teaching...
one is fighting a battle...one is dying.....
one is just beginning to live.......
one seeks suffering
and another chooses service
one is being served....one is running away
and one has found home

What connects us
what makes us brothers and sisters
what makes us friends
what brings us Joy
what gives us Peace

Perhaps our strength is found
in our differences
and in the wonder of variation
in each of us
rather than in our
likenesses
as we suppose

I do feel the awesome spirit energy of love
as a constant in my life
