return to yourself, to who you are,
here and now and when you get there,
you will discover yourself, like a lotus flower

beautiful and strong.” ~❀~ Masaru Emoto, Secret Life of Water

Let us always meet each other with smile,
for the smile is the beginning of love.

Japanese fans are constructed of paper on a bamboo frame, usually with a painted design and are an important cultural symbol. Primarily, they are used to fan the body in hot weather. Fans symbolize respect, friendship and good wishes and are given to others as a present and also serve as trays for holding gifts. Sometimes they are used in religious ceremonies and events. Warriors would use fans as weapons and in the military, as a way of sending signals on the battlefield. Mainly fans were used for court and social activities. In Japanese dance performances, they are an important stage prop and for actors, as well and for children, they are toys.

The soul can split the sky in two and let the face of God shine through.

The chief beauty about time
is that you cannot waste it in advance.
The next year, the next day, the next hour are lying ready for you,
as perfect, as unspoiled,
as if you had never wasted or misapplied
a single moment in all your life.
You can turn over a new leaf every hour
if you choose.
Arnold Bennett

  1. Oh a lovely post Jeanne!
It's sad if we lose our imagination when we say goodbye to childhood.
Imagination and dreams are for life - special gifts that can make an ordinary day quite magical!!!
    hugs
