Friday

St. Teresa of Avila, a 16th C. nun, poet and writer. Here's a quote from of one of her poems, "Enjoy Me," that describes the power and joy of love so beautifully:
Love once said to me, "I know a song,
Would you like to hear it?"
And laughter came from every brick in the street
And from every cloud
in the sky.

Thanks Claire for this beautiful quote.

I always love to hear from you

Every day is a great day for love
Rumi

At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done.

We will be judged by "I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in."

Hungry not only for bread - but hungry for love. Naked not only for clothing - but naked of human dignity and respect. Homeless not only for want of a home of bricks - but homeless because of rejection.

Mother Teresa ♥

Have a fabulous Friday♥
The pure, the beautiful, the bright. That stirred our hearts in youth. The impulse to a wordless prayer. The dreams of love and truth. The longings after something lost. The spirits's yearning cry. The strivings after better hopes. These things can never die. Sarah Doudney
