Legacy of Love

~✿ღ~✿ღ~✿ღ~✿ღ~✿ღ~✿ღ~✿ღ~✿~
“Our life is our prayer. It’s our gift to
the Universe, and the memories we
leave behind when we someday exit
this world, will be our legacy to our
loved ones. The best thing we can do
for ourselves and everyone around us
is to find our joy and share it!”
~ Anita Moorjani

Thank you everyone for your love, kindness support and all the messages, phone calls and things sent
at this most difficult time.

Everything means so much
and a million thank you's could never be enough

My Grandmother leaves a legacy of  love as did my beloved Mother

Two of the finest women I have ever known

Her famous Here I am whenever she was happy and
around her family
I can picture her announcing herself in Heaven
in just that manner

Celebrating her 93rd birthday January 2008

Sweater from Cousin Wendy and her words  Grammy loved red cardinals, as our whole family loves them♡ Cardinals are a symbol of love & relationships; and it is said if you see a cardinal in your yard, it is a visitor from Heaven. No wonder we all think they are so special :)♡

''I think that the only reason why people hold onto memories so tight, for so long is because memories are the only things that don't change, even when people do..''

Grandma whispering secrets into Justin Ouellette's ear. I must share a funny story of Justin and Grandma. We used to pick Grandma up every Thursday and take her shopping. Before we drove her home I said Grandma would you mind if I just left you and Justin in the car while I pick up a prescription. It took longer than I anticipated and Justin wanted to run out to join me so Grandma took every piece of paper she had in her purse and let Justin rip it all up into shreds. Oh my can you imagine when we went to pick up Justin's Dad at Paragon Tools he who kept everything immaculate and in perfect order took one look inside the car and said HOW did this happen. Splain please as Ricky Ricardo used to say to Lucy. A golden moment for the memory books of Grandma X0X0

Words from my Son

I have been having some good dreams about time spent with her over the last couple of days.

Dear Great Grandma,

Thank you for all the love you shared with me. Never was there a time where I saw you angry or upset. I always enjoyed visiting your home because I knew there would be plenty giggles, smiles (and never ending juice in 2L glass containers).

We were all beautiful, gorgeous, and/or movie stars in your eyes. These words, while were not for the chosen few, they meant something to each and every one of us because we knew you meant them with the utmost sincerity.

You were always giving and kind; always offering money when you had none to give. You always put the care and wellness of others first.

Great Grandma, you're one of the bravest souls I knew - packing your bags and venturing to a brave new world at 16, and going to a place where the language was not your own. I remember you helping me trace out a family tree when I was in elementary school. We talked for hours about all the Steve's and Mary's you knew back in Hungary in every small town. It still inspires me to travel to Hungary to this very day.

You were an incredibly tough-willed woman, who I still can't imagine having not been to a doctor for decades in your lifetime, meanwhile blessing us on this planet for over a century. It must have been all that healthy eating from all the vegetables you grew in your garden!

I love you great grandma and for all these wonderful qualities you possessed. The world would be a blessed place if everyone loved and cared for one another the same way as you did.

I'm so happy that my wife and son got to meet you!

May you be the angel in heaven as you were on earth...

Your great grandson,

Justin

I am so glad Justin and Logan and Ahram were able to visit
with Grandma in 2014 we had a remarkable visit that day

The plan of the Master Weaver
Our lives are but fine weavings
That God and we prepare
Each life becomes a fabric planned
And fashioned in His care
We may not always see just how
The weavings intertwine,
But we must trust the Master's hand
And follow His design
For He can view the pattern
Upon the upper side
While we must look from underneath
And trust in Him to guide
Sometimes a stand of sorrow
Is added to His plan
And though it is difficult for us
We still must understand
That it's He who fills the shuttle,
It's He who knows what's best,
So we must weave in patience
And leave to Him the rest.............
Not until the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly
Shall God unroll the canvas
And explain the reason why
The dark threads are as needed
In the Weaver's skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.

With Deepest Sympathy
