The First Bunny I bought for Logan when he was born............
The way we talk to our children becomes their inner voice. --Peggy O' Mara

‘… and she loved a boy very, very much– even more than she loved herself.’ ~Shel Silverstein, The Giving Tree

The Velveteen Rabbit Quotes (showing 1-14 of 14)
“Real isn't how you are made,' said the Skin Horse. 'It's a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real.'

'Does it hurt?' asked the Rabbit.

'Sometimes,' said the Skin Horse, for he was always truthful. 'When you are Real you don't mind being hurt.'

'Does it happen all at once, like being wound up,' he asked, 'or bit by bit?'

'It doesn't happen all at once,' said the Skin Horse. 'You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand.”

Happy September 1st
☆*`•º•`*☆A sweet September morning☆*`•º•`*☆

"Summer's End"
No flowers to plant,
No garden to tend,
As summertime lazily
Comes to an end.
It's time to sit back
and deliciously savor
The beauty of the season
and the fruits of our labor.
Farewell to summer;
for autumn make way,
With this last celebration
We call Labor Day.
~Nancy Hughes

Welcome September ~"The air is different today

the wind sings with a new tone

sighing of changes

coming

the harvest gathered

a flower, a nut

some mead, and bread

a candle and a prayer

returning the fruits

in thanksgiving

to the grove

and receiving

it's blessing

The morrow was a bright September morn; The earth was beautiful as if newborn; There was nameless splendor everywhere, That wild exhilaration in the air, Which makes the passers in the city street Congratulate each other as they meet."

"By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer."

September is a two part harmony, as summer's light hearted serenade ends and a deeper melody begins. We sow seeds of gratitude, simplicity, order and harmony into our lives. Now an authentic harvest is gathered in. Beauty beckons us to partake in her beauty. Begin to reap the rich harvest that love has sown.

September Again

Keen rays of sunshine
Pierce frosty air
As splendid new colours
Are splashed here and there
Crimson on hilltops
Rust on the plain
Copper in valleys
And amber on grain
Our hearts brim with gladness
As all nature proclaims
Behold Autumns Glory
It is September Again

Love is one of life's most beautiful gifts.
It often comes as a surprise filling the heart with joy.
Selfless giving. Love places the happiness of another above our own.It inspires
with its own passion nurturing with its generosity and enriches with its spirit.
There is no limit to its magic.
Love is eternal.

Soon September 18 Justin and Ahram will celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary
