My beloved Mother taught me everything
except how to go on living without her
Treasured and adored in Heaven as you were on Earth.
There is not a moment where I am not thinking of you
and missing you with all of my heart♥
Your life was a blessing
Your memory a treasure
You are loved beyond words
And missed beyond measure
Always I remember
and cherish and adore you in Heaven as I did on earth
Your life was a blessing
Your memory a treasure
You are loved beyond words
And missed beyond measure
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind; 185
In the primal sympathy
Which having been must ever be;
In the soothing thoughts that spring
Out of human suffering;
In the faith that looks through death, 190
In years that bring the philosophic mind.
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind; 185
In the primal sympathy
Which having been must ever be;
In the soothing thoughts that spring
Out of human suffering;
In the faith that looks through death, 190
In years that bring the philosophic mind.
I cherish and adore you in Heaven as I did while you were here on earth. God bless you Mom until we meet again. I miss you more than words could ever, ever say.
First my Mother
Forever my friend
Nothing is ever lost to us as long as we remember them

Because for those who love with heart and soul
there is no such thing as separation.”~ Rumi

Blossomed the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots of the angels.”

MORE THAN A MOTHER
When God set the world in place,
when He hung the stars up in space,
when He made the land and the sea,
then He made you and me.
He sat back and saw all that was good,
He saw things to be as they should.
Just one more blessing He had in store;
He created a mother, but whatever for?
He knew a mother would have a special place
to shine His reflection on her child's face.
A mother will walk the extra mile
just to see her children smile.
She'll work her fingers to the bone
to make a house into a home.
A mother is there to teach and guide,
a mother will stay right by your side.
She'll be there through your pain and strife,
she'll stay constant in your life.
A mother will lend a helping hand
until you have the strength to stand.
She'll pick you up when you are down,
when you need a friend she'll stick around.
A mother is one who listens well,
will keep her word; will never tell.
A mother never pokes or pries
but stands quietly by your side,
giving you the strength you need,
encouraging you to succeed.
A mother is one who can be strong
when you need someone to lean on.
You're more than a mother to me;
a reflection of Him in your face I see,
a love that knows no boundaries.
I'm glad that you chose to be
all this and more to me.
You share a love that knows no end,
you're more than my mother,
you are my friend.

Poem of Comfort
When somebody dies, a cloud turns into
an angel, and flies up to tell God
to put another flower on a pillow.
A bird gives the message back to
the world, and sings a silent prayer
that makes the rain cry. People dis-
appear, but they never really go away.
The spirits up there put the sun to
bed, wake up grass, and spin the
earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you
can see them dancing in a cloud during
the day-time, when they're supposed
to be sleeping. They paint the rain-
bows and also the sunsets and make
waves splash and tug at the tide.
They toss shooting stars and listen to
wishes. And when they sing wind-
songs, they whisper to us, don't
miss me too much. The view is nice
and I'm doing just fine.

Memory
is a way of holding onto the things
you love,
the things
you are,
the things
you never want to lose
~From the television show 'The Wonder Years'~
In my heart forever precious Mom
Remembrance
I think of thee when soft and wide
The evening spreads her robes
of light.
And like a young and timid bride
Sits blushing in the arms of night.
And when the moon's sweet
crescent springs
It's light o'er heaven's deep
waveless sea,
And stars are forth like
blessed things,
I think of thee! I think of thee!

.If flowers grow in heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for me, place them in my Mom's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss on her cheek and hold her for a while.
WE REMEMBER THEM. At the rising of the sun and at its going down We remember them. At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter We remember them. At the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring We remember them. At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of summer We remember them. At the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of autumn We remember them. At the beginning of the year and when it ends We remember them. As long as we live, they too will live, for they are now a part of us as We remember them. When we are weary and in need of strength We remember them. When we are lost and sick at heart We remember them. When we have joy we crave to share We remember them. When we have decisions that are difficult to make We remember them. When we have achievements that are based on theirs We remember them. As long as we live, they too will live, for they are now a part of us as We remember them.
To my beloved Mother,
May every tear that has ever fallen from your tired eyes become a river for you in Paradise.

But it is never ever the same
In the external scheme of things,
shining moments are as brief as the twinkling
of an eye, yet such twinklings are what eternity
is made of -- moments when we human beings can say
"I love you," "I'm proud of you," "I forgive you,"
"I'm grateful for you." That's what eternity is made of:
invisible imperishable good stuff.”~Fred Rogers

We never really get over devastating loss.
In the thick of it, we almost stop breathing;
sometimes even wishing we could.
And we know deep within that we will never be the same.
Yet, one day we feel the sun on our face again.
We find ourselves smiling at a child or a joke or a memory.
And at that moment, we realize we are finding our way back.
Changed forever? Yes.
But also softer, deeper, more vulnerable and more loving too.
And we are breathing again.

Mom's Journey ...
The young mother set her foot on the path of life.
"Is this the long way?"
she asked.
And the guide said, "Yes, and the way is hard.
And you will be old before you reach the end of it.
But the end will be better than the beginning.
But the young mother was happy,
and she would not believe that anything could be better than these years.
So she played with her children, she fed them, and bathed them,
and taught them to tie their shoelaces and ride a bike
and do their homework and brush their teeth.
The sun shone on them, and the young mother cried,
"Nothing will ever be lovelier than this."
Then the nights came, and the storms,
and the path was sometimes dark, and the children shook with fear and cold,
and the mother drew them close and covered them with her arms,
and the children said,
"Mother, we are not afraid for you are near,
and no harm can come."
And the morning came, and there was a hill ahead,
and the children climbed and grew weary,
and the mother was weary too.
But at all times she said to the children,
"A little patience and we are there."
So the children climbed, and as they climbed,
they learned to weather the storms.
And with this, she gave them strength to face the world.
Year after year, she showed them compassion, understanding,
hope, but most of all...unconditional love.
And when they reached
the top they said, "Mother, we could not have done it without you."
The days went on, and the weeks and the months and the years,
and the mother grew old and she became little and bent.
But her children were tall and strong, and walked with courage.
And the mother, when she lay down at night looked up at the stars
and said, "This is a better day than the last, for my children have
learned so much and are now passing these traits on to their children."
And when the way became rough for her,
they lifted her and gave her their strength,
just as she had given them hers.
One day they came to a hill,
and beyond the hill, they could see a shining road
and golden gates flung open.
The young mother set her foot on the path of life.
"Is this the long way?"
she asked.
And the guide said, "Yes, and the way is hard.

"You will always walk with us, Mother,
even when you have gone through the gates."
And they stood and watched her as she went on alone,
and the gates closed after her.
And they said,
"We cannot see her, but she is with us still.
A mother like ours is more than a memory.
She is a living presence."
