Tuesday

"Live with kindness, integrity and spirituality. Comport yourself with grace under pressure. Be an asset in the lives of others. Put people before things and live from your heart. Be intelligent, but know it is better to be kind than smart. Be a peacemaker who values peace and takes peace everywhere you go. Learn to understand your energy and how you create with your energy. Have among your priorities the characteristics of politeness, compassion and patience. Avoid making rash assumptions. Be a believer in true love. Seek deep communication with others and with yourself. Laugh and make the best of every situation. Understand that life is not perfect. Be whole enough to love and to be loved. When you find real love — protect and preserve the sweetness and intimacy of your gift. Make your home a heaven on Earth."— Bryant McGill

Life is like a small canvas.
Mistakes happen, colors mix,
and you can't take back what was already done
so throw as much paint on there as you can
and live your life to the fullest
because in the end there is no starting from scratch,
you just have to work with what you got
and hope for the best."

Eat, drink, and be scary

The Ghost with the Most

One ghostly ghoul, one green eyed goblin
The headstones say; You got a problem
To venture on my porch tonight
Might want to hold your mummy tight
Lit with jack-o-lantern heads
And zombies that we haven't fed
The bushes sing with raven calls
Behind the webs the spiders crawl
The lab that's in the basement lit
Where Dracula and Wolf man sit
With Frankenstein just playing cards
While mother hangs out in the yard
Now candies dandy, but a tricks a treat
Oh I love the sound of running feet

The Elsa Pumpkin
the Movie Frozen is so special to me
I watched it with my Grandson this summer
and we sang Let It Go

Trick or treat

"I am rich today with autumn's gold,
All that my covetous hands can hold;
Frost-painted leaves and goldenrod,
A goldfinch on a milkweed pod,
Huge golden pumpkins in the field
With heaps of corn from a bounteous yield,
Golden apples heavy on the trees
Rivaling those of Hesperides,
Golden rays of balmy sunshine spread
Over all like butter on warm bread;
And the harvest moon will this night unfold
The streams running full of molten gold.
Oh, who could find a dearth of bliss
With autumn glory such as this?"
~Gladys Harp, Autumn Glory

Do you know why the colours  orange  and black are symbolic for Halloween?

Orange symbolizes fall's harvest

Black is the colour because of winter's coming darkness
