As I have seen in one Autumnal face....

We are stardust we are golden and we've got to get ourselves back to the garden.

That old September feeling... of summer passing, vacation nearly done, obligations gathering, books and football in the air.... Another fall, another turned page: there was something of jubilee in that annual autumnal beginning, as if last year’s mistakes and failures had been wiped clean by summer. ~Wallace Stegner

"There’s an old Taoist recommendation for surviving a roiling river of change: 'You go up when the water goes up; you go down when the water goes down.' If we’re in tune with our true nature, the times when 'the water goes down' are periods of play—full of productivity, creativity, doing. Times when 'the water goes up,' letting us bob to the surface for air, are the periods of rest. They’re for stillness, receiving, being." - Martha Beck
