Beautiful

d to try this because this might be the recipe that converts you to a cabbage lover.
SHARE to save to your wall for to make later!
This is a simple side dish worthy of a dinner party and couldn’t be easier to make. Four ingredients, a couple of minutes to prepare and toss in the oven for an hour.
Ingredients
1 (approx 2lb) head of organic green cabbage, cut into 1″ thick slices
1.5 tablespoons olive oil
2 to 3 large garlic cloves, smashed
kosher salt
freshly ground black pepper
spray olive oil OR non-stick cooking spray
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400F and spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Pull outer leaf off cabbage (it’s usually dirty and nasty looking), cut cabbage from top to bottom (bottom being root) into 1″ thick slices.
2. Rub both sides of cabbage with smashed garlic.
3. Use a pastry brush to evenly spread the olive oil over both sides of the cabbage slices.
4. Finally, sprinkle each side with a bit of kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
5. Roast on the middle rack for 30 minutes. Carefully flip the cabbage steaks and roast for an additional 30 minutes until edges are brown and crispy.
Serve hot and Enjoy!

"If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant;
if we did not sometimes taste of adversity,
prosperity would not be so welcome." ~Anne Bradstreet

Good bye winter
Good bye snow
It's time to watch the flowers grow

As seen on Facebook

There's a romance in Tulips
Like blowing a kiss
That's caught in a moment
Of startling bliss
Like a faded old photo
That's suddenly clear
Bringing forth memories
That are still held so dear
They speak of what's gentle
What's safe and what's kind
A hand in a hand
And hearts intertwined
I wait for the Tulips
That they may revive
The sweet latent stirrings
Of being alive

Han Style Asian countries have been doing exchanges through culture and trade throughout history. Trends spread throughout the region at an incredibly fast rate. The 80's were a time for “Hong Kong Noir” while the 90's were more an age of Japanese animation. The 2000s have seen a sharp rise in the popularity of Korean culture, with music and dramas hitting all the right notes. Interest in Korea, triggered by the success of leading Korean dramas and popular music, continues to escalated to include a host of other aspects of Korean culture, such as hangeul (Korean alphabet), hansik (Korean food), hanbok (traditionalKorean clothing), hanok (traditional Korean houses), hanji (traditionalKorean paper), as well as Korean music. In Korea, the aforementioned six cultural symbols are collectively referred to as “Han Style”.

CULTURE*
When they laugh, Japanese women often cover their mouth with their hand. This comes from an old Buddhist notion that showing bone is unclean, as well as a horrendous lack of orthodontics in Japan. If you're a woman you have no obligation to copy this, but you will soon notice how frequently Japanese do this.

"NEVER let anyone steal your joy."
~ Mike Richards~

As sun rose in the early dawn
And skies were lit with gold,
I saw the clouds go passing by
And watched my dreams unfold,
For as the morning breeze did blow
It softly spoke to me,
The wind chime played the sweetest song
A graceful melody.

I rested in the leafy shade
Whilst there I thought of you,
I closed my eyes and there I wished
That you were with me too,
And as the noontime breeze did blow
Across the summer sky,
The wind chime played the sweetest song
That through the air did fly.

As shadows started falling
On the dark deserted ground,
I heard a gentle ringing then
So beautiful the sound,
For as the evening breeze did blow
And glowing sun did set,
The wind chime played the sweetest song
I never shall forget.

I watched the fading afterglow
That slowly slipped away,
Beneath the dark horizon far
To close another day,
And as the twilight breeze did blow
And stars did shine above,
The wind chime playrd the sweetest song
The sweetest song of love.
I have always been delighted at the prospect of a new day, a fresh try, one more start, with perhaps a bit of magic waiting somewhere behind the morning.

They sing so beautiful

Wealth is not an absolute. It is relative to desire. Every time we yearn for something we cannot afford, we grow poorer, whatever our resources. And every time we feel satisfied with what we have, we can be counted as rich, however little we may actually possess.”

A Wish for a Friend
Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers—
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours—
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never ends
Each day your whole life through!
An Irish Prayer
May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

Every year on March 1st
I buy a stock of Belle's of Ireland Plant
(green one)
To bless my husbands birthday month
with the luck of the Irish
and for his lovely Mother in Heaven
who was of Irish decent.

There is also blue flowers all over our home always
for our Logan

I love Katie Melua
I especially love this song by her
I will be there

Spring is the Queen of all seasons♥
Have I ever mentioned how very much I love Spring?

May March bless us all with the very best indeed.

Many beautiful places to see

I also bought myself one stem of my favorite
Pussy willows

From my former home
Pussy willows and pansies were 2 things that were always
in abundance

Spring is soon to arrive in all of her glory

How out of breath you are!
Dear March, how are you?
And the rest? Did you leave Nature well?

Oh, March, come right upstairs with me,

I have so much to tell!

Emily Dickinson.

It is the first mild day of March
Each minute sweeter than before
There is a blessing in the air........

William Wordsworth

March arrives, the last hurrah of winter and the first whisper of spring.  Slowly our spirits reawaken along with the natural world, from a long winter's slumber.  Branches that just days ago were bare, now blossom with new growth.  Deep within we feel stirrings of hope.  Turn over the earth in the inner garden.  This month we plant seeds of the fertile soil in our souls.

From the  book Simple Abundance
A daybook of Comfort and Joy
Sarah Ban Breathnach

March bustles in on windy feet, and sweeps my
doorstep and my street. She washes and cleans
with pounding rains, scrubbing the earth of winter
stains. She shakes the grime from carpet green till
naught but fresh new blades are seen. Then,
house in order, all neat as a pin, she ushers gentle
springtime in."
 ~Susan Reiner, Spring Cleaning

Thanks Dani~♥

A Change In The Year

It is the first mild day of March
Each minute is sweeter that before,
The redbreast sings from the tall larch
That stands beside our door.

There is a blessing in the air,
Which seems a sense of joy to yield
To the bare trees and mountains bare;
And grass in the green field.
--William Wordsworth

"Keep a green tree in your heart and perhaps a singing bird will come."-  Chinese proverb

"Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves."-  James M. Barrie

"Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom." -  Marcel Proust

Here comes the Sun☼

A most fitting song with the hopes of Spring arriving
soon after the long long winter

Happy Birthday greetings to our lovely
family member Frances
Much love and many blessings to you
May God bless you always♥

“In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible spring.
And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.”
~ Albert Camus
