Happy Birthday to my Dear Cousin Wendy

Treasured memories from July 2011
Wendy, Ahram and I
Our lives are a rich tapestry
of things we have done and said
with memories of those we love
outlined in golden thread.

Dear Wendy:

You Are Special
"SPECIAL" is a word that is used to
describe something one -of-a-kind.
Like a hug or a sunset
or a person who spreads love
with a smile or a kind gesture.
"SPECIAL" describes people who
act from the heart and keep in mind the hearts of others.
"SPECIAL" applies to something that is admired and precious, and which can never be replaced.
"SPECIAL" is the word that best describes YOU.
--Written by Terri Fernandez.
I love you with all my heart dear Wendy
Enjoy your special day in every way.
Love Jeanne♥

Soul Sister is a gift to the heart
A friend to the heart
A friend to the spirit
A golden thread
To the meaning of life
Isadore James
Celebrate you and surround yourself
with people that do.
May Heaven Smile and Hear your every wish.
As you always say to me we are jewels to each others eyes♥

Be Good To You
Be yourself, truthfully
Accept yourself, gratefully
Value yourself, joyfully
Forgive yourself, completely
Treat yourself, generously
Balance yourself, harmoniously
Bless yourself, abundantly
Trust yourself, wholeheartedly
Empower yourself, prayerfully
Give yourself, enthusiastically
Express yourself, radiantly

So loving and so loved.
We all adore you and love you so very much precious Grandmother.

God bless you real good today, tomorrow and always♥

To all grandmothers, whose wisdom, courage and love have paved the path for future generations - we thank you!

Grandmother-grandchild relationships are simple. Grandmas are short on criticism and long on love.

A Grandmother is someone with silver in their hair and gold in their hearts

A grandmother is a little bit parent, a little bit teacher, and a little bit best friend. -- Author Unknown

Grandmothers are voices of the past.

Role models of the present

They open the doors to the future
Her and my cousin Wendy are my January jewels♥
I never take my Christmas tree nor ornaments down until after their respective birthdays.
Wendy's is tomorrow.

Anyone who was BORN in the 50's, 60's, 70's...

Anyone who was BORN in the 50's, 60's, 70's... We are the last generation who played in the street. We are the 1st who played video games, the last to record songs off the radio on a cassette tape. We walked over a mile w/no worries on being taken... We learned how to program the VCR before anyone else, we played from ...Atari to Nintendo..We are the generation of Tom and Jerry, Looney Toons, Captain Kangaroo. We traveled in cars w/out seat belts or air-bags, lived without cell phones. We did not have flat screens, surround sound, iPods, Facebook, Twitter, computers or the Internet...But nevertheless we had a GREAT time ♥

Did you know the people who are usually the strongest for others are quite often the most sensitive? Did you know the people who exhibit the most kindness are the first to get mistreated? Did you know the one who takes care of others all the time are usually the ones who need it most? Did you know the 3 hardest things to say are: I love you, I'm sorry, and I need some help

Rabbit Rabbit and Happy New Year 2012

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Fuerth

Marriage: I you want something to last forever, you treat it differently. You shield it and protect it. You never abuse it. You don't expose it to the elements. You don't make it common or orinary. If it ever becomes tarnished, you lovingly polish it. Until it gleams like new. It becomes special because you have made it so. And it grows more beautiful and precious as time goes by. F Burton Howard

New Year! May we adopt these ABC's in 2012- A=attitude, may it always be positive. B=believe in yourself, and God. C=courage, may we be courageous in our challenges. May God Bless you all in 2012
Thanks Cousin Darren for this quote
All dressed up and had a fabulous time
at Erica and Scott's wedding.
What a fabulous way to bring in 2012.
We all had such a great time.
And now let us welcome the New Year
Full of things that have never been.
Rainer Maria Rilke
January the month of new beginnings and cherished memories, beckons.  Come let winter weave her wondrous spell, cold, crisp, woolen-muffler days, long dark evenings of savory supper, lively conversations, or solitary joys.  Outside the temperature drops as the snow falls softly.  All of nature is at peace.  We should be too.
Draw hearthside.  This is the month of dream, to look forward to the year ahead and the journey within.
Above quote from  Simple Abundance
A daybook of Comfort and Joy

I am the new year. I am an unspoiled page in your book of time. I am your next chance at the art of living. I am your opportunity to practice what you have learned about life in the last twelve months. All that you sought and didn’t find is hidden in me, waiting for you to search for it again and with more determination. All the good that you tried for and didn’t achieve is mine to grant when you have fewer conflicting desires. All that you dreamed, but didn’t dare to do; all that you hoped, but did not will; all the faith you claimed, but did not have; these slumber lightly, waiting to be awakened by the touch of a strong purpose. I am the new year. ~author unknown
