Ruby Tuesday

৲)ྀ...৲)ྀ Good morning. May your day be filled with love,
c(¯¯)..(¯¯)& joy and an abundance of happiness.

#Suzhou is often termed the Venice of China. This is more from an area close to our home with lots of great tea houses and restaurants.

“There is only that moment, and the incredible certainty that everything under the sun has been written by one hand only. It is the hand that evokes love, and creates a twin soul for every person in the world. Without such love, one's dreams would have no meaning.”
~Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist -`ღ´-

Photographs from my Son
and his description of where they live

"The Autumn leaves are parading
with their coats of orange, red and brown
in a whirling and intricate motion
on the cold, dappled ground.

The Autumn parade gives pleasure to the senses
and lingers on to the days that are winter bound,
and one will always remember the splendor-
the parade of the orange, red and brown."
~from Autumn Parade by Joseph T. Renaldi

Beautiful creation by my talented friend Dani and I love the verse she posted too
I love you Dani

Strut your stuff on these beautiful autumn days

Dance, laugh and eat with your friends. True, honest, strong friendships are an utter blessing and a choice we get to make, rather than have to share a loyalty with because there happens to be link through blood. Choose wisely then treasure them with all the love you can muster. Surround yourself with beautiful things. Life has a lot of grey and sadness – look for that rainbow and frame it. There is beauty in everything, sometimes you just have to look a little harder to see it. — Charlotte Kitley

2 red or green bell peppers, diced
2 sweet potatoes, diced

1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
2 cans drained lentils
handful of shredded kale
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste
I threw in some chopped jalepenos but not essential
and a chopped tomato

salt and pepper

In heavy pot dry saute the onions and peppers until soft stirring as they stick. Add a bit of broth to loosen. Add everything else and simmer until done about 30 min.

Your song for the day such beautiful nature scenes

A great life is not about routine but doing something rare. To cherish and not to compare.
To forgive, not to blame, and to be loving without counting. Laugh at your mistakes but learn from them.
Joke over your troubles but gather strength from them

September is almost complete.  Zooming on to October  and once again amazed at how fast the time goes by.

May we enjoy many days of this glorious time of year

Image scanned from a greeting card I once had.

Enjoy this day in every way

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Life Is Like a Train Ride

═════════════ ღೋƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒღೋ═════════════════
═════════════ ღೋƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒღೋ═════════════════

Life is like a train ride.

The passengers on the train are seemingly going to the same destination as you, but based on their belief in you or their belief that the train will get them to their desired destination they will stay on the ride or they will get off somewhere during the trip.

People can and will get off at any stop.

Just know that where people get off is more of an reflection on them, than it is on you.

There will be a few people in your life that will make the whole trip with you, who believe in you, accept that you are human and that mistakes will be made along the way, and that you will get to your desired destination - together, no matter what.

Be very grateful of these people.

They are rare and when you find one, don't let go of them - ever.

Be blessed for the ones who get on at the worst stops when no one is there.

Remember those people, they are special.

Always hold them dear to your heart.

Be very wary of people sneaking on at certain stops when things are going good and acting like they have been there for the whole ride.

For they will be the first to depart.

There will be ones who secretly try to get off the ride and there will be those that very publicly will jump off.

Don't pay any heed to the defectors.

Pay heed to the passengers that are still on the trip.

They are the important ones.

If someone tries to get back on the train - don't be angry or hold a grudge, let them.

Just see where they are around the next hard turn.

If they are buckled in - accept them.

If they are pulling the hand rail alarm again - then let them off the train freely and waste no space in your head for them again, ever.

There will be times that the train will be moving slow, at almost a crawls pace.

Appreciate that you can take in the view.

There will be times where the train is going so fast that everything is a blur.

Enjoy the sense of speed in your life, as it is exhilarating but unsustainable.

There will also be the chance that the train derails.

If that does happen, it will hurt, a lot, for a long time.

But there will be people who will appear out of no where who will get you back on track.

Those will be the people that will matter most in your life.

Love them forever.

For you can never repay these people.

The thing is, that even if you could repay them, they wouldn't accept it anyway.

Just pay it forward.

Eventually your train will get to its final stop and you will need to deboard.

At that time you will realize that life is about the journey AND the destination.

Know and have faith that at the end of your ride your train will have the right passengers on board and all the passengers that were on board at one time or another were there for a distinct purpose.

Enjoy the ride.”

☆*``*★ Have a sweet Saturday morning*☆*``*★ Everyone

You know that retail stores fragrance the air inside to evoke a certain mood – and of course, make people want to buy more……
And the most popular scent is the one inside Williams Sonoma stores.
People describe it as “sweet”, “clean” and “classy.” Well, you can give your own home the Williams Sonoma smell, naturally.
Here’s the recipe……On your stove top, or in a slow cooker, simmer……2 cups water, 1 sprig of rosemary, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and the juice from half a lemon. You can make big batches of this and store it in the freezer then you can whip it out and simmer it as needed when you’re expecting guests.

Thanks John Tesh I love the information you share

≧◔◡◔≦Wishing  You a marvelous day!≧◔◡◔≦

If you always wake up during the night, try massaging your ankles before bed.
Researchers at the University of Arkansas say an ankle massage stimulates the nerve pathways that boost production of the calming hormone oxytocin……Which should help you wake up less often during the night. And pay special attention to the indentations just below your ankle bones. Experts say that 3 minutes of massage is all it takes for a better night’s sleep.
....Even better? Have your partner massage your ankles....

Soup recipe and quote from Chin Deep link in my sidebar

(The Tale of Desperaux : Being the story of a mouse, a princess, some soup and a spool of thread.)
Here’s a hearty, healthy soup that tastes just like stuffed green peppers!
~Stuffed Green Pepper Soup~
Brown and drain:
2 lb. lean ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 large green peppers, coarse chopped
2 (15 oz) cans organic tomato sauce
1 (15 oz) can beef broth or stock
1 (14 oz.) can organic, diced tomatoes with juice
1 Tablespoon Sriracha Hot Sauce (or your favorite)
1/4 cup ketchup
3 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon dry Italian seasoning
2 Tablespoons dry or fresh parsley
2 large cloves garlic, minced
Simmer on low, until everything is heated through (about 30 minutes.)
While soup is heating:
Make a couple cups of rice (lightly buttered and salted) according to package directions. When soup is heated through, ladle into bowls and top with a little cooked rice. Salt and pepper to taste.
